Bradford Police Museum Volunteer - Escape Room Developer

An exciting opportunity to help design and run escape games in the historic setting of The Bradford Police Museum with its Victorian haunted cells and courtroom. Houdini managed to escape from our cells over 100 years ago - can you?

The Bradford Police Museum is committed to telling the story of policing in Bradford. In particular the museum wants to encourage new and developing audiences to enjoy the museum and learn more about the history of policing.

The museum is looking to recruit a small team of enthusiastic volunteers with an interest in social history and Bradford heritage who are able to develop the concept and then run the games for paying participants. It is vital the escape games are constructed in such a way that the story of policing in Bradford can be told through the game. The escape room game will then be available to paying participants with the proceeds going to help run the museum.

The Bradford Police Museum is a not for profit making registered charity. The museum has an extensive collection of bespoke Bradford police artefacts and is run by a team of over 35 enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. The museum is unique in that in addition to the displays in the museum gallery the museum offers guided tours of its Victorian cells and courtroom. The museum has been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for a number of years.

The museum has a curatorial team and knowledgeable tour guides who can help provide material for the games.
