Inspired by the BBC's Helicopter Heroes? Help us continue providing a rapid response emergency service throughout Yorkshire.
To go on saving lives we need to raise £12000 a day to keep both our ambulances maintained and in the air. We are looking for individuals, couples or small groups of friends who have access to their own vehicles and who can be self sufficient to attend local events and represent YAA independently of charity staff. We are asked to attend hundreds of events throughout the year and we are just not able to cover them all without the help of our volunteers. This role requires you to collect a gazebo, merchandise, banners and other equipment from the YAA office or storage unit and transport these to an event. You will need to be physically able to erect the gazebo, run the stall and pack up at the end of the day.
In return you will
-gain fantastic work experience
- strengthen your CV or job applications
- be invited to interesting and fun events
- go to quarterly volunteer meetings with guest speakers
- enjoy social events with the volunteer team throughout the year
- get out and about in your local area and meet new people:
