Sports & Activities Volunteer

Become a health and wellbeing volunteer (delivering sports and activities sessions to Key Stage 2-4). Volunteer at Karmand Community Centre, a place that appreciates the value of our youth and the impact we can make by investing our time.

We believe in the mission of a health and wellbeing volunteer to support and improve the mental and physical wellbeing of young people, through sports, games, and activities.

As a Health and Wellbeing volunteer, you’ll be helping students develop their team work, confidence, mental wellbeing, physical health, and other crucial skills they will need to succeed in life. By sharing your personal and professional experiences, you’ll serve as a role model to help students envision a successful future, and also have a great time through group activities. This role makes volunteering easy and fun. We will provide you with all the training and materials needed to be successful, and our opportunities are flexible and rewarding. From as little as a couple of hours a week, you can give today’s young people a sense of purpose, allowing them to belief in themselves. We will also reimburse both your travel expenses and your meals (depending on time volunteered).

You’ll benefit too! Volunteering with Karmand Centre can:

•        Improve your professional development skills (public speaking, presentation, leadership, time management).

•         Connect you with the greater community.

•        Give you a sense of satisfaction.
