SEO Specialist

Numberfit is looking for SEO specialists to improve our SERP ranking of our new website and manage all SEM activity.

Numberfit is a social enterprise that works to make Maths learning fun and engaging for children across all age groups.

With the launch of our new website and product offering we’re looking to improve our SEO, and grow our team, working towards achieving organic growth. Some of the tasks we are looking for our SEO volunteers to help us with are: Optimising copy and meta tags of our landing pages Ongoing keyword analysis to optimise and identify new opportunities Managing content creation to use for linkbacks on sites with high domain authority Conversion Rate Optimisation to increase ROI on all paid campaigns Analyse and report on progress with all SEO efforts and SEM campaigns Liaise with the Marketing team to ensure all content released fits within our SEO plan

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, and working alongside a small group of social media volunteers.

Your input will shape how we present ourselves to schools, parents and the general public. With your help we’ll be able to continue raising the profile of mathematics, enjoyable learning and children's wellbeing.


We hope you will be familiar with Google, Yahoo and Bing and have experience working with them. You should also be able to contribute to content creation, and have a good understanding of Google Ads.

The volunteer should also have/be: Proven experience of working as an SEO specialist Deep understanding of search engines algorithms, what can affect our ranking and how to improve it Experienced in using, measuring and reporting in Google Analytics / Hotjar Can rung A/B and multivariate experiments Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Keep up to date with any trends or changes in any platforms algorithms to make sure the right person is informed Accuracy and attention to detail Understands the resource constraints of a small organisation and is able to work with these Open to feedback
