Due to the forthcoming retirement of the present Secretary, the Society is looking for someone to join our team to undertake a range of administrative duties. The team works throughout the year (though October - February are quieter months!) culminating in the staging of the annual Show on the first Saturday in September.
This is a voluntary role with a small annual Honorarium.
Skills
• Good computer skills, including use of email, internet, Word etc. Familiarity with social media platforms would be an advantage. • Confidence dealing with members of the public and working with other members of the team. • Good organizational skills.

Availability Details
There are approximately 6 - 8 meetings of the Management Committee per year (usually 2 hours on Wednesday evenings) which you would normally be expected to attend. Also, you must normally be available during the two weeks before the Show, as well as on Show day itself. Other tasks between meetings can be undertaken flexibly to fit in with your other commitments. Average time commitment over and above meetings will be approx 8 - 10 hours per month.
