We are launching an exciting new allotment project 'The Lotty' and are seeking to recruit an experienced gardener / vegetable grower who ideally has experience of supporting adults with additional needs.
The Lotty is intended to provide an introduction to the 'joys' of growing your own fruit and vegetables for adults who are laerning disabled or neuro-diverse. The clients will be supported by our staff.
The project will run every Thursday between 11-2pm. Times are flexible. All equipment will be provided.
The site is accessible, with access to toilets and refreshments
Skills
* Knowledge of growing fruit & vegetables
*previous experience of running an allotment or vegetable garden
*ideally some experience of working with adults with disabilities, although this is not essentail as the clients will be supported by our staff.
* Excellent communication skills
