Historical Cemetery Groundwork, Research, or Events.

Undercliffe Cemetery Charity operates and maintains the historical Undercliffe Cemetery in Bradford. The Cemetery dates back to the Victorian period, and is often referred to as the 'Highgate of the North'. As well as being a working cemetery, Undercliffe Cemetery is home to many historical figures dating back to the 19th century. We are interested in recruiting volunteers, as they are vital to the survival of the cemetery - we are especially interested in recruiting grounds volunteers (Tuesdays) and those who can participate in research/ events (differing days/ or remote).

Skills

No prior experience is necessary, but it would be beneficial if you had an interest/ experience in gardening or general ground maintenance. Just let us know upon application. We are also looking for people who are interested in historical research and tour guiding - any prior experience in working in customer facing roles would be beneficial.
