We look especially for individuals with a holistic perspective and ideally some community experience, who enjoy working with groups. Skills in group process, healing & maintenance. Holistic gardening is not a lifestyle or a movement – it is simply a way of gardening that benefits the mind as much as the body as much as the spirit and not least as much as the garden.
Skills
1. Have a general knowledge of gardening
2. Be over the age of 18 due to the nature of the service
3. Good listening and communication skills at all levels
4. Reliable, organised, consistent, dependable and have an ability to handle a level of stress
5. Understand the need to adhere to policies and procedures especially around Safeguarding
6. A caring, sympathetic, sensitive manner and a non-judgemental approach
