My name is Aston, I am 25 years old, and I am delighted to announce my new role as the new LinkAge coordinator for Keighley Parish. My aim over the next two years is to facilitate weekly activity groups where senior citizens can ‘come and chat, enjoy light refreshments and participate in activities which they enjoy’. At the end of the 2-year programme I will be hosting an exhibition of all our achievements. I am looking for anyone who may want to volunteer along side me on this wonderful venture and if anyone may have any ideas on what activities they would like to see happen. These activities will be inclusive, so everyone has the same opportunity to enjoy the fun! The groups will take place on a Monday at St Marks, Tuesday at St, Barnabas and Thursday at St Johns, I look forward to getting to know you all and I am excited to be a part of the Keighley Parish family!
