Peer Support Volunteers

We are looking for Peer Support Volunteers with lived experience of mental health to facilitate peer support groups, social groups and 1-1 sessions within the community.  In addition, we may need help at local events within the community to run stalls, give out leaflets, raise awareness on mental health & wellbeing & talk about Missing Peace & our services as well as supporting fundraising efforts of the organisation.  In house training is provided & required to work within a peer support setting.  Regular team meetings & group supervision sessions are provided to all volunteers. Enhanced DBS checks for all volunteers is required.

Basic administration skills (to complete registers & contact forms)
