Volunteer Hairdresser/Barber – Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford

Availability: Any weekday between 10:00 and 15:30

We’re looking for a qualified Hairdresser or Barber to join our team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

By offering your time, care, and professional service, you’ll help patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for - bringing a little joy and dignity to their day through something as simple and powerful as a haircut.

If you’re passionate about people and want to use your skills to brighten someone’s day, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

> Provide hairdressing/barbering services to patients at the hospice > Liaise with staff to identify patients who’d like to use the service > Offer friendly conversation and a listening ear > Keep the salon space clean, tidy, and welcoming > Flag any wellbeing concerns to staff > Support with other related tasks as needed
