Mary's Meals is a simple idea that works! We provide one daily meal in a place of education in order to attract chronically hungry children into a classroom, where they receive an education that can, in the future, be their ladder out of poverty.
Our mission is to enable people to offer their money, goods, skills, time, or prayer, and through this involvement, provide the most effective help to those suffering the effects of extreme poverty across the globe.
From feeding just 200 children in Malawi in 2002, today Mary's Meals provides daily school meals to 2,429,182 children in 18 of the world's poorest countries.
We are a low cost, no frills, grassroots organisation and our work is only possible thanks to the wonderful volunteers who support our mission.
