About
The Bahamas Locomotive Society preserves steam locomotives and displays them in a museum setting and by operating them in the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Alongside the station at Ingrow West the society has a Museum, a shop and a Locomotive Engineering Workshop which is open daily to visitors throughout the summer and at other times throughout the year. The Society has already completed the restoration of the 1888 built locomotive known as the 'Coal Tank' which operates regularly in the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and will soon complete a similar restoration of the Jubilee class locomotive 'Bahamas'.
