We are a CIC (The Activity Den (Bradford) CIC 15233579) launched in September 2024 that are passionate about helping all ages of the community look after their physical and mental health as during our research we have found that post COVID and in current cost of living crisis this is an area that needs groups to facilitate this.
We are already meeting over 500 families per week through various community groups and private hires.
We currently run pay as you feel groups for families such as Stay & Play, Choir for families with additional needs, Interactive Story Readings, ActiveYouth, Baby Weigh and Play, Crafternoon, Mens Social Group, Emotional supposrt group for families with children in KS1 and Seasonal Festivals. These events encourage the local community to socialise while learning something new. While families are with us we help them access services to combat the cost of living crisis and save energy in their home. Having a warm and welcoming space gives families somewhere to come work on their wellbeing and mental health, we are able to refer them on to programmes should they require additional help.
