Admin • Assist with clerical tasks such as typing letters, writing letters/emails, filing, data input, printing/photocopying information and documentation for clients. • Assisting the Advisors with triage assessment of clients. • Providing clients with relevant signposting information. • When requested, helping clients use the telephone, write a letter/email. Interpretation • Interpret spoken language to enable our advisors to gain information needed from the client to help with debt, benefit or housing issues. • Ensuring that meaning and context is portrayed accurately in the interpretation and that confidentiality is adhered to at all times. • Delivering triage assessment at first contact to streamline client access to information, self-help or advice services efficiently at an appropriate level. Trainee (knowledge of AQS guidelines essential) • Shadowing/assisting the Advisors with drop-ins. • Clerical tasks such as inputting client notes, notetaking, filing client notes. • Liaise with other organisations to help client’s individual situation. • Provide preliminary information/advice on issues relating to subjects under the remit covered by AQS.
