Skills
The volunteer role in our cafés is all about communicating. You will help the conversation between members to flourish.
Supported by a team of experienced volunteers, many of whom have aphasia themselves, and our inhouse Speech and Language Therapists, you will use tools and aides to encourage conversation between our clients.
Our clients can find public speaking difficult, so you will need to be outgoing and patient. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
