This is the role for you!
Our Community Champions are at the heart of helping us to create a world without limits for people with epilepsy. They offer support and visibility at a local level, from awareness raising to making building connections in your community and will help us achieve these goals.
The Community Champion Volunteers in West Yorkshire have three main roles:
Help raise awareness about Epilepsy Action’s work to make a difference for people living with epilepsy
To actively engage and build networks and connections with local groups and associations in West Yorkshire.
To encourage and inspire people within your local community to get involved with work that Epilepsy Action does including fundraising activities.

The skills you need Enthusiastic, can-do attitude Confidence and willingness to speak in public and to be able to share your own story as well as signposting to Epilepsy Action's services, information and support Ability to network and make connections in your local community Flexibility to offer support when opportunities are available Outgoing personality who likes meeting new people Confidence using technology including social media platforms and Microsoft packages
