DalesBus is a community-focused transport service helping people access the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas in a sustainable, inclusive way. We reduce car dependency, protect fragile landscapes, and make nature accessible to people from all backgrounds.
As our events programme grows, we are seeking an Digital Marketing Officer to ensure our events are visible, well-attended, and compellingly communicated online.
The Digital Marketing Officer will help with the digital promotion of DalesBus events, including fundraisers, community socials, exhibitions, and partner-led activities. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, storytelling, and community engagement.
You will work closely with the Marketing Director, Events Manager, photographers, and partners to turn events into strong digital campaigns before, during, and after they happen. This is an ideal role for someone looking to build experience in digital marketing, events promotion, or communications for purpose-driven organisations.
Skills
Essential - Interest or experience in digital marketing, communications, or social media - Strong written communication skills - Organised and reliable, with good attention to detail - Confidence using social media platforms - Enthusiasm for sustainability, community and inclusive access to nature
Desirable (not essential) - Experience promoting events online - Familiarity with email marketing tools - Basic understanding of analytics or insights - Interest in photography, video or storytelling
