To support the green space and sensory garden at the back of Shipley Resource Centre. The space is designed for the people we support who attend The Fab 2 service and Shiplet Resource Centre.

and experience of gardening

experience of managing gardening related tools i.e. loppers, secatuers, shears
and electric hedge cutters.
We are looking for a volunteer happy to be involved in the following tasks:
- Mowing, trimming, tree cutting and pruning
- Maintenance of green spaces
- Cleaning and weeding
- Application of chemical and organic herbicides, pesticides and fertilizer
- Soil management activities
- Sowing, cultivation and propagation of plants, trees and shrubs
- Designing and building gardens
- Cultivating fruit and vegetable plants
- Maintain hanging baskets and borders around the building
