Roles available this month:
Meet and Greet Volunteer (Baby Clinic)– Horton Park Health Centre BD7 3EG Gardening Group Volunteer – Airedale Centre for Mental Health, Steeton BD20 6TD
Volunteers play an important role within our Trust, providing support to those people who use our services. We welcome people from all groups and communities who would like to share their skills and experience or gain and develop new skills and experience. We offer a range of support to volunteers. If you have any questions about what it’s like to volunteer with us, please get in touch. Volunteering opportunities are available across the Bradford, Airedale and Craven District. We have a wide range of services, many of which have volunteers. We recruit new volunteers every month. If one month you don’t see a role that you’d really like to do, please do check the next month- we manage a diverse range of roles across our clinical and non-clinical services so it is worth waiting until there’s a role that is a great match for your interests, skills and experience. Roles will be open for applications from 1st of every month to 22nd. Do get in touch to join our mailing list and hear about roles first: volunteer@bdct.nhs.uk We reserve the right to close roles early if we receive a high number of applications. Before applying, we ask that volunteers consider their availability within the next few months - our opportunities are not short-term and recruitment checks can take around 2-3 months to complete. These recruitment checks include DBS check, references, right to work and online training. You will also need attend a face-to-face Welcome Workshop, Breakaway training and an Infection Prevention session. Please apply for one role only and list any other roles in which you are interested on your application form in order of preference.
