As a River Monitor Volunteer you would be helping to collect data to help us understand the health of our rivers. Your work will keep it safe from pollution. River Monitors volunteer in pairs on their stretch of the river each month looking at samples of river water and the insects living in it. You would be learning the skills with us needed to understand the river & wildlife. This role would be approximately one day a month. It will be in your local area and training will be given.
