Staying Put is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity working across Bradford and surrounding areas. We support adults and children who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, offering services One Front Door, Community Hub and Accommodation.
Our One Front Door Helpline is open to anyone who needs help – whether a victim or survivor, a friend or family member of someone who needs help, or a professional who needs advice. It is run as part of the Bradford Survive and Thrive partnership. One Front Door helps everyone who needs it, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation.
When an individual calls One Front Door, the call will be answered by a trained domestic abuse practitioner, who will have a chat with the person, find out as much information as they are comfortable sharing, and will then go through the options and support available.
One Front Door also manage a webchat through the Staying Put website.
In One Front Door volunteers will provide support at intake, by checking incoming referrals, enquires, emails and voicemails and contacting service users and completing pre-assessment work. They will provide administrative support through recording of notes and information, supporting the operation of the webchat and assisting with office tasks.
