Staying Put is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity working across Bradford and surrounding areas. We support adults and children who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, offering services One Front Door, Community Hub and Accommodation.
We have four refuges across the Bradford District offering safe accommodation for single women and women with children. The accommodation service also has a portfolio of dispersed properties across the Bradford District, ranging from 1 bed flats to 3 bed houses. Our refuge provision is a female only space. Our dispersed accommodation can support male victims and is trans inclusive. We have an experienced multi-disciplinary staff team across the accommodation service. Allocated keyworkers work with individuals and families to look at their needs and offer practical and emotional support to help manage risk and achieve goals to help build confidence, and empower clients towards move-on and safer, independent living. We also offer ongoing resettlement support for individuals and families moving on to their own tenancies, helping to set up utilities, engaging with local services to help them sustain their tenancy and live independently.
