Trustee - particularly with fundraising or publicity skills

Friends of Goit Stock Wood is looking for volunteers to launch a charity to raise funds to buy Goit Stock Wood, a 70-acre woodland near Bingley in West Yorkshire. The wood, which surrounds Hallas and Harden becks, contains the spectacular Goit Stock Waterfall. We hope that by placing the woodland into community ownership we can encourage visitors to learn about and care for nature. We also want to create opportunities for volunteers to work on conservation projects, and enhance the biodiversity in the area.

We are seeking two or more people to join us as Trustees to help set up the charity. We would particularly welcome those with fundraising or publicity skills, but we'd also like to speak to anyone else who would be interested in helping with the project.
