The Brontë Parsonage Museum attracts around 75,000 visitors each year from around the world. However, the Parsonage still retains a powerful atmosphere of the Brontës’ own time, giving a wonderful insight into domestic life in the nineteenth century. The Bronte Parsonage Museum runs a Visitor Experience Volunteer programme to supplement its current staff and volunteers are an invaluable part of keeping the Museum running. All volunteers will be fully trained in Museum procedures upon induction.

What's involved…? - Providing a warm , friendly welcome to all visitors as the public face of the Museum - Learning about the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the various periods it has gone through and the lives of the people who have lived there - Helping visitors, through answering questions etc. to discover more about the lives of the people who lived and worked at the Brontë Parsonage Museum

This role does require periods of standing and moving around the museum. Please be aware that access to the upper floor of the museum is by stairs only. For further information please see www.bronte.org.uk/visit-us/access - Age restrictions
