Volunteer Director

The Neighbourhood Project CIC exists to promote the identify of Bradford's neighbourhoods, to encourage residents to have a greater say over what happens in their areas, and to research their histories from the perspective of their residents. For an overview of what we are, please see our website www.neighbourhoodproject.org.uk and our YouTube channel www.youtube.com/@theneighbourhoodproject

We are looking to recruit new members to our Board of Directors. This will meet quarterly in Bradford, most likely a venue in the city centre, and will help steer the work of the organisation, having an overview of our projects and finances. Meetings will be quite informal and light refreshments will be provided. Beyond this, directors can be involved as little or as much as they wish and we are keen to help people to develop their role based on what interests them and what experience they would like to gain.

Skills

At this stage, we are mainly looking for people who care about Bradford's neighbourhoods, their residents having a meaningful say in what happens to them, and their histories.
