We provide a inclusive volunteering service offering advice/guidance and a tailored, individual support package to potential volunteers with additional needs. This could include but is not limited to: mental health problems; learning disabilities, physical or sensory impairments, neuro-diverse and long-term health conditions. Part of our service involves meeting with volunteers in a variety of community locations to talk informally about their interest in volunteering and assess any additional support they might need to ensure a successful volunteer placement. This role involves advising and supporting volunteers to find their ideal volunteer opportunity and identifying the support that need to be in place to ensure a successful placement.
We work with local mental health providers and organisations providing support to asylum seekers and refugees
