About
Horton Community Farm is creating an inspirational permaculture centre for food growing and community resilience. It's run by local people on 1.75 acres of Cecil Avenue Allotments. We have 5 main strands of work; environmental education & forest schools, volunteering, horticultural therapy, wildlife and food growing. We are committed to creating a collective resource for the community and preserving the large urban allotment site where we are located. We are established as a cooperative organisation and registered as a limited company. We operate as a social enterprise and any profit we generate is invested back into the project.
