Community Project Lead

Peacemaker International is strengthening structured delivery across our Strategic Pillars:

• Drop-in Centre

• Empowerment & Employment

• Health & Wellbeing

• Safety & Family Support

We are seeking a motivated, delivery-focused Community Project Lead to work closely with the CEO in translating strategy into measurable community impact — while building aligned funding streams that support sustainable growth.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who wants real responsibility, not supervision — and who is motivated to grow their leadership capability as the organisation scales.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

Pillar Delivery

Own delivery across assigned Strategic Pillar(s)

Translate priorities into structured action plans

Embed safeguarding and measurable impact tracking

Provide concise monthly updates to Trustees

        Escalate risks appropriately

Funding & Growth

Identify grant opportunities aligned to our pillars

        Lead or coordinate funding submissions

        Maintain a live funding pipeline

Build partnerships with local authorities and stakeholders

Volunteer Leadership

Structure volunteers across delivery and research streams

Align volunteer activity to defined outcomes

Strengthen internal capability and delivery resilience

Why this role matters

You will work directly with the CEO and Trustees, contributing to strategic discussions while building programme-level leadership capability.

As funding is secured and programmes scale, the scope of this role can expand accordingly.
