Centre Helper

Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre, on the outskirts of Ilkley, runs several events each year to raise money to help subsidise disadvantaged children so that they can attend with their school. We need volunteers to assist our staff and trustees at these events. The roles vary from car parking, registration, in the cafe or on the juice bar, to helping in the adventure playground, water play or activities like den building and arts & crafts.

Skills

Most of the roles are standing ones, so, apart from the lunch break, volunteers are on their feet for a few hours. Otherwise, it's about being friendly and helpful to our visitors, while keeping an eye on the children.
