World Peace Cafe volunteer

We need helpers who can do a variety of jobs in our Cafe (want to learn barista skills?), including serving, cooking and cleaning . We need someone who has a reasonable level of English because of contact with customers in the café.

We prefer helpers who have an interest in learning more about what we do here.

We are a Buddhist Centre run by a dedicated team of volunteers who aim to create an oasis of peace which is accessible for all members of the community. As well as our cafe, we offer a range of meditation classes and courses which are designed to help people to find inner peace and contentment and solve their human problems and to learn more about Buddhism. On the ground floor of our building, we run a Community Cafe which serves vegetarian food including home made cakes and soups and offers a place where people can take time out of their busy lives and relax.
