River Worth Friends is a charity, managed by a committee of volunteer trustees. We work to advance the conservation, protection, restoration, and improvement of the River Worth and to engage the community to look after the river.
We are looking for people who care about our local river, wildlife and community to join our board of trustees. Trustees help guide the charity, support volunteers and ensure we continue to make a real difference along the River Worth.
What’s Involved:
• Attending trustee meetings (around 6 per year)
• Helping to shape our plans and community activities
• Offering your skills, ideas and support to the charity
Skills
• No previous trustee experience needed - just enthusiasm. • We welcome people of all backgrounds. • Supportive of River Worth Friends’ aims and able to work with volunteers. • Ideally local or familiar with the River Worth area.Details
