To provide support and supervision to service users/members to enable them to participate in a range of activities within the shed. To share skills and knowledge to help people develop their woodworking abilities. To provide encouragement, supervision and practical assistance to enable people to develop their woodworking skills. All volunteers would be required to work with and under the supervision of the group leader/s to form part of a team. The ability to work alone will also be a useful asset. Help will be available at all times.
Skills
Practical skills in woodwork essential. Volunteers must be responsible with due regard for health & safety. Experience of supporting/teaching/mentoring advantageous.
